I received a ton of questions a few days ago on Instagram after posting this picture of what was inside the first ever Jini Beauty Box. I thought I would write a post giving you all more information on this new beauty service.
Meet Jini Beauty. This a month beauty subscription service filled with Korean beauty products. What sets this service apart from the other beauty subscription services out there is that it is a custom fit box according to your skin type. You can chose your monthly box based on your skin type or skin care concerns. There are 4 skin types to chose from and the cost of this service is $24.95 per month. Each box comes with 1-2 full sized product and 3-5 deluxe samples. Since I have sensitive skin, I chose the Sensitive/Troubled Skin box option.
My box arrived securely packaged with priority shipping. Inside I found a very detailed information card. On the card, you are given information and tips on using the lip tint included in the box plus a few Hangul(Korean) translations regarding expiration dates. I love how it also includes patch testing recommendations and detailed product descriptions with application directions.

I am actually super excited about this monthly subscription service. First, I have sensitive skin that is acne prone so I have to be very careful about what products I use and try. I have always shied away from beauty subscription services because my skin is so sensitive. For those of you with sensitive skin or those that are acne prone, you know what I am talking about! When I first heard of Jini Beauty box service and how you could custom fit monthly boxes based on your skin type I was sold! I think this an ingenious concept that allows me to explore new beauty products in a safe way. Jini Beauty hand picks each box according to skin type and chooses products that would be the best fit. As far as the value, the full size products in this box roughly equal about $25 not calculating the value of the mini samples and free shipping. I am still not quite sure about the overall value of this service versus the products you receive. What do you think about Jini Beauty Box?
