April Skin Magic Snow Cushion SPF 50+ PA+++

Here is my review on the April Skin Magic Snow Cushion White. I have been reviewing a ton of cushions lately and to be completely honest, the truth is that I just love cushions! I think cushions are one of the greatest inventions in the realm of skincare and makeup. They not only provide makeup coverage but they can offer so much benefits in terms of skin care. The April Skin cushion is no different as this cushion has some pretty stellar ingredients. For reference, I am reviewing the #21 Light Beige and the "White" version which is for a drier skin type.

As you can see, this cushion is a round, white compact with a mirror and includes a ruby cell puff applicator. The puff itself is white on top with a canvas color bottom. It is slightly "puffier" than the ones from Innisfree or Iope. It just seems a little bit thicker and more bouncy.

Delight 18 Sun Cushion and Tinttox Balm Review

Today’s review is on a few makeup products from the brand Delight 18. I won both of these in a recent giveaway and they are both pretty unique and deserve a full review.

Let's start with the Delight 18 I U White Pang Cellapy Sun Cushion SPF 38 PA +++

This cushion is unlike others I have tried because this is not a typical cushion foundation. This is a sun cushion that helps protect the skin from the environment and damaging UV rays. It also conditions and whitens the skin. It can be found here on Wishtrend and retails for around $24USD

Travel Essentials

I don't often get to travel except for the occasional overnight here and there. When I do get the chance at a real vacation, packing beauty products is often difficult. For those of you who follow my Instagram here will know that I love using numerous products in my daily skincare routine. When it comes to packing all of those beloved products, the thought process often flare the anxiety. But I have quickly learned the best ways to pack smart! Here are some of my tips on how to bring all the essential when you are home away from home.

First...Sunscreen is the most important part of my beauty routine. People also ask me what my beauty secrets are for looking so young and without hesitation I always reply sunscreen! Sunscreen is your best defense against aging. When traveling, I do not bring samples, mini's or decants because I use at least a half teaspoon of sunscreen just on my face alone.  I apply sunscreen everywhere...face, neck, ears, décolleté, upper shoulders.  I have found that bringing a full size is the better way to travel.

My April Empties

I know that I am a little behind but here are my empties for the month April. If you follow my Instagram account you know that I post my AM and PM routines often. I don't often use the same products everyday as I like to switch it up. I listen to how my skin is feeling and because my skin is sensitive and acne prone, I may use a different set of products depending on how my skin is behaving. Plus, since I do not use the same products everyday, I go through my products a lot less. On the flip side though, I have a shit ton of products! Storage is a nightmare and another story and blog post! Here are the products I got through last month...

Want to see my vanity table?

Today's post is the second content post in the Asian Beauty Blog Party and you guessed it, this post is about our vanity. I actually have an old vintage vanity that my other half found on Craigslist.  I use this to store most of my makeup. In all honesty, I don't wear a full face of makeup often so I am still asking myself why in the hell do I have so much makeup if I hardly wear any! But anyway, on a day to day basis I will go without makeup or if I do anything I will even out my complexion with a cushion foundation. If you have Instagram, check me out as I regularly post here!

Here are two drawers showing what's inside. The drawer on the left products having to do with the complexion. Here I store cushions, foundations, blush, concealer, powder, highlighters, bronzers, BB creams and an Aritaum facial mist. Yes, I keep some cushions in their cases because I don't want to scratch the cases. I have a few IOPE cushions and a cushion blush, Maestro foundation, powder and highlighter from Giorgio Armani, a few Face Shop products, Tony Moly, Skinfood cushion and concealer,  a few natural blushes from Tarte, Well People and 100% Pure.

The drawer on the right is lip products. I have lipsticks, lip oil tints from YSL that I love (I love most YSL lip products and have a ton) Tony Moly, lip tints, Dior Lip Glow and some glosses, a few lipsticks from 100% Pure, a few lip liners, Tony Moly and Etude House lipsticks and back ups of my favorite lip balms.

So, that is just a glimpse into my vanity, makeup storage and some of the brands that I currently use. I do use a blend of Asian beauty, natural/organic brands as well as popular, main stream brands. What are some of your favorite makeup brands?

Stay Beautiful ❤️
